Hiccups in the Womb

Helen was awaken the other day by a weird feeling in her tummy. She said it wasn't a kick, but something more 'rhythmic.' After consulting the interwebs, we found out it was probably Norby hiccuping!

What a funny thought- that our baby got gas from the amniotic fluid she was drinking. I can't help but picture Barney from The Simpsons burping, even though one has nothing to do with the other, and I am hopeful our little baby girl is better looking than Barney.

Speaking of absolute randomness, enjoy this Italian cartoon, about hiccups:

  1. I remember when my first did that. She did it quite often and it would wake me up in the middle of the night...a lot.

BTW, Austy has been asking for "ungle dehwek" quite often these days. You must've left an impression? Or he wants you to come over for a playdate. We just added Percy the steam engine to his collection.

  2. Helen was weirded out by the hiccup at first, then realized it's normal.

I like hanging out with both your kids. They're fun. As for leaving an impression, remind me the next time we hang out to tell you the story of my niece, her pushing me into a bathtub (with my clothes on) while on vacation and why it's one of her fondest memories...
